Concord Gets New Liquor & Wine Outlet

Construction will begin on a new 12,000 square-foot NH Liquor & Wine Outlet at I-93 Exit 17 in Concord later this year. The Liquor Commission (NHLC) plans call for a new state-of-the-art outlet at Concord Crossing on Whitney Road next to a new 80,000 square-foot Market Basket.

“The New Hampshire Liquor Commission is committed to renovating and relocating our outlet locations to better serve our 12 million annual customers and generate critical revenue to support state services,” said NHLC Chair Joseph Mollica. “This new location at Exit 17 is strategically located to capitalize on the more than 34,000 vehicles that pass along the route each day and positioned alongside other premier retailers. We look forward to offering an expanded selection of wines and spirits in a new spacious shopping environment.”

The new outlet will feature more than 4,000 sizes and varieties of wines and spirits, showcase special sections devoted to premium and ultra-premium spirits, high-end wine, as well as Outlet Price Busters and Wine Power Buys selections.

With LED fixtures, spacious aisles, and iPad kiosks for perusing inventory and wine and food pairings, the design will be modeled after the Warner Liquor & Wine Outlet pictured above.

Since 2012, NHLC has opened new or renovated existing NH Liquor & Wine Outlets in more than 30 communities.
