In recent years, there’s been increased concern by state leaders about whether NH can keep its best and brightest. With the help of the NH College and University Council in Concord, Business NH Magazine checked in with colleges and universities around the state to find out what their top students are planning. Here’s what one graduate reported back to us.

Hometown: Hudson, NH

Degree Earned: BS in Occupational Science with a minor in Public Health

GPA: 3.98

Career Aspirations: To work as an occupational therapist and to conduct research in the field. I am still exploring the various settings to work in as I have enjoyed all the settings I have experienced so far in my clinical fieldwork.

Graduate School: University of NH for my Masters in Occupational Therapy.

Have you landed a job? No, I have not landed a job yet because a Master’s degree is required to practice as an occupational therapist.

Why stay in NH? I chose to stay in NH for my Master’s degree because of the great opportunities UNH and the Department of Occupational Therapy offers, including research experience and various OT fieldwork settings.
