Cirtronics, a contract manufacturer in advanced robotics manufacturing in Milford, is aiding the development of the next generation of high tech workers through its sponsorship of FIRST Robotics Team #1519, Mechanical Mayhem.
The team won the Granite State District Event and was presented with the Gracious Professionalism Award for outstanding demonstration of the FIRST core values of working together respectfully, and supporting the success of other teams.
“Working with FIRST Robotics has taught me the value of technical collaboration, and a lot of the skills I will need to succeed,” says Layth Juma-Stephenson, a long time Mechanical Mayhem team member. “I already knew that Cirtronics built robots, but during our onsite visits to Cirtronics, it was great to be able to take what I had learned on the robotics team, and see how it applied in real life.”
According to a statement, as a premier contract manufacturer in advanced robotics manufacturing, Cirtronics understands the importance of investing in STEM education and experiential learning. FIRST Robotics Team membership empowers students to enter into technical employment with enthusiasm, experience and knowledge.
