Chase Bank Grows in NH

Since opening its first NH branch in Nashua in 2019, Chase Bank has continued to grow its footprint in the Granite State despite the pandemic. The bank, which has more than 4,800 branches in 48 states, now has five locations, 70 employees, 235,000 customers and 9,700 business clients in NH.

Chase also has branches in Portsmouth and Salem and opened its newest branch on Elm Street in Manchester in April. Doreen Warren, Chase Bank’s region director for New England, says while NH is a competitive market, there is significant development occurring, providing the bank with opportunities.

Warren says Chase is always looking to grow with three potential NH sites in the pipeline. However, she says those are still awaiting approvals and their locations are confidential.

Warren says while Chase has robust digital offerings, branches are still important. She oversees Chase’s operations in Maine, NH and Vermont and says while Chase’s footprint is about the same in Maine and NH, she anticipates NH will become the larger market soon.
