The New Hampshire Lottery has announced that its New England Patriots $5 instant ticket is the top-selling instant ticket in the history of the New Hampshire Lottery. According to lottery officials, overall ticket sales on the game have reached $835,000 in just 19 weeks since the game went on sale. There are a total of 1 million tickets in the game. Nearly 80 percent of the tickets have been sold.
Teaming up with the New England Patriots on this instant game has been an enormous success for the New Hampshire Lottery, said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the NH Lottery. The New England Patriots brand is so strong here in New Hampshire and our players just love this gamethe same way they love their Patriots. It has proven to be a winning season for all of us. Let's hope it continues!
The $5 ticket went on sale in late August 2012, after a media event featuring Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft, Patriots Hall of Famer Steve Nelson, the Patriots' cheerleaders and mascot and then-Governor John Lynch.

It is a great partnership that is generating funds for New Hampshire education. The record-breaking sales reaffirm that we have many dedicated Patriots fans in New Hampshire and this is a fun way to stay engaged with them year-round.
The ticket offers a top prize of $50,000. Two of the second-chance drawings were already held this past October 10 and November 26. Two additional second-chance drawings will be held on March 1 and June 21.
Prizes on the $50 ticket are as follows:
Top Prize: $50,000. Players match their numbers to any of the winning numbers, win prize shown. Get a football symbol, automatically win prize shown. Get a touchdown symbol and win all 15 prizes automatically. There are four $50,000 prizes and multiple second-chance drawing prizes. Players can win up to 15 times.
Players with non-winning $5 Patriots instant tickets can enter the second chance drawing. Prizes are as follows and will be awarded at each of four drawings:
- One Top Prize of two 2013 Patriots season tickets, two tailgate passes and one parking pass (playoff games not included).
- 25 additional Game Day Prizes of two tickets to a single game, including two tailgate passes and one parking pass. Game Day tickets will be for games determined by the New England Patriots only and cannot be exchanged for different games.
There will also be one final Grand Prize drawing in June from the pool of 100 Game Day prize winners. The Grand Prize includes two 2013 season tickets, two tailgate passes, one parking pass, and Patriots apparel. In addition, if the Patriots qualify for the playoffs in 2013 and host a game at Gillette Stadium, the package will include two tickets to the Patriots' first home playoff game.
Eligible entries must be received before 4 p.m. two days prior to the next drawing. The first ticket drawn for each will win the top prize season ticket package. The next 25 entries drawn will win two tickets to a single game. After the fourth and final drawing, all 100 winners of the Game Day Prizes will be entered to win the grand prize of Patriots 2013 Season Tickets, including the potential of tickets to a playoff game at Gillette Stadium.
