As a fourth-generation family-owned business, PROCON strives to make sure it is family friendly for all its employees. PROCON provides 12 weeks of paid maternity leave but recently rolled out a new leave program for spouses whose partner has given birth and for adoptive families. Under the new spousal leave program, following the birth of a child, a team member can take 14 days off at 60% of regular pay within six months of the birth.

PROCON hosts family fun days at the office and, every other year, at Charmingfare Farm. The family day at the office includes a petting zoo, ice cream, performers, arts and crafts and a family photo booth. The majority of PROCON employees leave promptly at 5 p.m. to ensure they are home for dinner, and the company has mother's hours for team members with young children. Employees also have the option to work remotely.

To celebrate milestone anniversaries, employees spin a wheel of fortune, with prizes increasing in value for bigger anniversaries. Prizes include cash, gift cards, time off, AirPods, Kindles, Yeti Coolers, tickets to sporting events and concerts, and hotel stays. Employees celebrating 20 or more years with the company receive a personalized gift, such as a weekend away with their families or cruise line gift cards.

PROCON also provides an onsite gym and cafeteria with meal subsidies. It also hosts Breakfast with the Boss in the office monthly, Lunch with the Boss in the field and provides free breakfast on Fridays.
