Robert Capozzoli (pictured here) joined Ledyard National Bank in Hanover as chief digital officer. He is responsible for driving digital transformation within Ledyard, leading the development and implementation of digital strategies, products and services that enhance client experience, improve operational efficiency, and support the Bank's overall growth and strategic objectives. Previously, Capozzoli served as chief marketing officer at Provident Bank in New Jersey where he was a member of Provident Bank's executive leadership team. He also played a prominent role in developing Provident’s banking technology as well as its customer experience, serving as chair of both their FinTech Committee as well as their Customer Experience Committee.

Community Bank opened a new loan production office at 650 Elm St. in Manchester that provides loan origination, consultation and relationship management to commercial banking clients and borrowers. Community Bank expects to open its first physical branch in NH in 2025.

The University of NH was awarded $24.3 million by NASA, on behalf of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), to build sensors for a high-priority alert system that will monitor the effects of space weather and the solar wind—caused by explosions on the sun—for potential interruptions to key technology like satellite communications, electric power grids and GPS systems.

For the ninth consecutive year, the NH Liquor Commission (NHLC) has received national recognition from StateWays Magazine in its annual Control State Best Practices Awards. StateWays honored NHLC as one of the top control states in the nation for its retail sales innovations and for its stakeholder communication and education efforts around a new ordering and inventory system.

Belknap EDC presented the Norman Marsh Award to outgoing Belknap EDC Board Member Chris Kelly of RE/MAX Innovative Bayside who retires from the Board at the end of this year. The Norman Marsh Award recognizes an individual for outstanding leadership and advocacy that strengthens the Belknap County community and its economy.
