In the spotlight: Baker Newman Noyes made three new senior hires: Jada Desmarais joins the firm as senior manager in the health care practice and Erica Napolitano was hired as senior advisor. Both will work out of the firm’s Portsmouth office. Also Dr. Myhanh Nguyen will work as a consultant in the role of medical director, bringing more than 14 years of clinical experience to the advisory group.

Eastern Bank Foundation named NH Community Loan Fund in Concord a 2022 Community Advocacy Award honoree. The Loan Fund was cited for providing more than $400 million in loans, and providing training and technical assistance to individuals and businesses in NH.

Ann Vennard, assistant director of advancement at Cornerstone VNA, a Rochester nonprofit home health and hospice care provider, was recognized as the 2022 Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Manager of the Year during the annual Governor’s Conference on Volunteerism on May 10th.

Canterbury artist Carol Lake was awarded an Artist-Led Project Grant by the NH State Council on the Arts to create a sculpture for the Abenaki Trails Project, which will be installed at Riverway Park in Hopkinton.

Catherine Bardier, senior VP and human resources director of Ledyard National Bank in Hanover, was recently honored with the Lilyan B. Wright Volunteer of the Year Award by the NH Governor’s Council on Physical Activity & Health.

Sullivan County recently held a grand opening celebration for its new Sullivan House sober living facility in Claremont. The creation of Sullivan House was funded in part by a $50,000 donation from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, a member of Dartmouth Health.
