In the Spotlight: St. Mary’s Bank hired Samantha Marshall as community relations coordinator. Marshall most recently served as manager of Education and Asset Building Programs at Affordable Housing Education and Development (AHEAD) in Littleton.

PROCON in Hooksett was chosen to serve as designer and construction manager for 384,000-square-foot facility for Rand-Whitney to meet the significant growth in worldwide demand for packaging that was accelerated by the COVID pandemic.   When fully operational, the new packaging facility will have the potential to manufacture 300 million boxes annually.

Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover has added former local journalists Doug Moon and Aaron Sanborn to its communications team. Moon spent more than 20 years in journalism, most recent at WHDH-7 in Boston, Sanborn has been named a communications, public relations, and social media specialist. He spent more than 13 years at Foster’s Daily Democrat and the Seacoast Media Group.

North Branch Construction in Concord promoted Sandra McNeff, SHRM-CP to human resources manager. Since joining the company in 2018 as a human resources generalist, Ms. McNeff has significantly grown the department and the services it provides to the employees of North Branch Construction.

Meredith Village Savings Bank named Cynthia Hemeon-Plessner as its first chief marketing and experience officer. In this role, Hemeon-Plessner will continue lead marketing, communications, community engagement and customer experience efforts for the Bank. In addition, she will continue her role as senior vice president working with other members of bank leadership to develop and implement bank strategy.

The Daniel Webster Council - Boy Scouts of America, for the first time in nearly 50 years of recognizing distinguished individuals and corporate citizens, decided to award an entire industry, New Hampshire’s hospitals and health care heroes.  The Boy Scouts of America honored the service, sacrifice, and courage of healthcare employees throughout the pandemic.

Specializing in eclectic farmhouse ales, Burnt Timber Brewing & Tavern in Wolfeboro released Birdhouse Peach (5.5% ABV), a cider fermented with peaches and finished with organic white tea. Burnt Timber also released Wīt Mountains Wit (4.5% ABV), a wheat beer with orange peel and coriander.

The NH Department of Environmental Services, represented by the Office of the Attorney General, and Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics have reached an agreement to permanently provide safe drinking water to approximately 1,000 properties located in portions of the towns of Bedford, Hudson, Litchfield, Londonderry, and Merrimack. NHDES will host a remote meeting for all affected communities Wednesday, May 4, at 6:30 pm to discuss the specifics of the agreement, the steps that will follow, and to answer questions.

For the first time since May of 2019, the American Independence Museum in Exeter will reopen its doors in May in anticipation of a full operating season. The campus comprises the Ladd-Gilman House (c. 1721), and the Folsom Tavern (c. 1775). The museum more than 3,000 historic artifacts including a copy of the Dunlap Broadside, the first official printing of the Declaration of Independence.

Loeb School of Communications in Manchester has made a return to in-person classes on Wednesday evenings May 4, 11, 18 and 25, topics include Demystifying Misinformation, Public Speaking, Crisis Communications, Flash Storytelling with Video, and a first-ever collaboration with the Community News Service for a Citizen Journalism 101 class.
