Miles Cambridge In the Spotlight : Jewett Construction in Raymond added Myles Cambridge to its operations team as VP of NH operations. Cambridge (pictured at right) has built his career over the past 25 years working nationally and in the Greater Boston area holding the positions of project executive, manager of construction services, and director of construction.

The New Hampshire CDFA in Concord hired Jacqueline Matthews as its new data capacity manager. Matthews most recently worked as a regulatory auditor at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Franklin Savings Bank recently presented Concord Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) with a $3,000 donation towards Safe Spaces II – a three-year campaign to raise $2.25 million to purchase and renovate a building in downtown Concord into four apartments to provide safe homes to people seeking affordable housing, as well as support all of their programs for a three-year period.

Atlantic Broadband, a cable operator serving parts of NH, is now offering 4G LTE backup service for its business internet customers. Supported by Altaworx, which aggregates services from two nationwide wireless networks, the service enhances reliability by protecting against internet interruptions.

The board of directors of The Gundalow Company in Portsmouth elected John Lamson of Newington as its new chair, effective immediately. He replaces Catharine Newick, who served as chair since 2017 and will remain a director of Gundalow Company. Lamson is a retired U.S. diplomat who grew up in Newington and Portsmouth.

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains has made the decision to suspend all Girl Scout activities including cookie booths through April 13. Offices, retail stores, and camp properties are now closed to visitors.

Governor Chris Sununu issued his 10th Emergency Order as part of the state's efforts to respond to COVID-19, requiring all grocers and retail stores to temporarily transition to single-use paper or plastic bags. The order applies to grocery stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, retail stores selling any product, and any other similar establishment engaged in in-store sale of retail products to customers.
