In the Spotlight: Cheshire Medical Center in Keene hired Carlye Atkinson, MSN, CNM for its Women’s Health Department. Atkinson previously worked at Planned Parenthood in Keene and has worked as a registered nurse for more than six years. Christopher “Casey” Gibbons, PA-C joined the Orthopaedic Department. He has more than five years of experience working as an athletic trainer in the orthopaedic setting.

Tinkham Realty, Inc.  in Londonderry completed the sale of a 1,864-square-foot restaurant location and a 2,880-square-foot four-unit apartment building at 91-93 West Broadway in Derry to 91-93 WB Derry Realty Management LLC.  The property contains .39 acres with approximately 20 parking spaces and is located near exit 4, I-93. Jerry Hersch of the commercial division of Tinkham Realty, Inc. represented the sellers Douglas A. and Rosalind M. Hartley. The sales price according to the Rockingham Registry of Deeds was $625,000.

Bar Harbor Bank & Trust hired Marion Steiner as AVP, community banking relationship manager. Her office is located in West Lebanon, serving the Upper Valley area of NH and Vermont. She has been with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust for 10 years holding various positions of increased responsibility. Terri Raymond has joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, as VP, regional market manager for NH Central and Upper Valley regions.  She manages 15 branch locations from Bradford to Hanover, as well as the Bank’s Customer Service Center and has more than 17 years of retail banking experience

Spaulding Youth Center in Northfield presented its most recent Spaulding Spirit Award to Carol Sanborn, quality improvement coordinator. This peer-nominated recognition is presented at each quarterly staff meeting to one employee who exemplifies Spaulding Spirit and makes peers proud to be working by their side. Sanborn joined Spaulding thirty-four years ago as a residential counselor.

The Diocese of Manchester's Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund , a not-for-profit organization within the Catholic Church in New Hampshire, is supporting comprehensive prenatal care for high-risk women with a $4,000 grant to Families First Health & Support Center in Portsmouth and Goodwin Community Health in Somersworth. The two community health centers, which merged in 2018, cared for 481 pregnant women in 2018.

Newburyport Bank has donated $2,000 to Exeter Parks and Recreation in support of their Senior Summer Kickoff Event, to be held on June 4 at Swasey Parkway in Exeter, where participants will enjoy a catered BBQ dinner and listen to a 17-piece band. The bank has donated $600 to the Rotary Club of Dover ’s 18 th  Annual Golf Tournament to be held on Monday, June 10 at The Links At Outlook in South Berwick, Maine. And through a donation of $750, Newburyport Bank is the presenting sponsor of the 2019 season of Town Exeter Arts Music (TEAM), an annual arts, music and cultural non-profit initiative dedicated to the production, promotion and organization of original programming, projects and events in the Exeter area.
