McLane Girls Inc

In the Spotlight: McLane Middleton, PA in Manchester donated 100 shoes and school supplies in March as part of its year-long centennial celebration focused on clients, community, and colleagues. 

The firm donated 50 pairs of shoes to Girls Inc. of NH and 50 18-piece school supply sets to Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell in Massachusetts.

Each month during 2019, the firm makes a donation based on the number 100 to mark the firm’s 100th Anniversary.

Jennifer Eastman joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as branch relationship manager II of the Hanover office. She is a sales professional with more than 10 years’ experience in a retail setting and serves as an ambassador for the Hanover Chamber of Commerce.

Cathy Donaher has joined as branch relationship manager III of the Nashua office. Donaher previouslyhad a 14-year career with TD Bank.

The 2019 CHaD Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship raised $278,000 for kids and programs at Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

Stebbins Commercial Properties in Manchester facilitated the sale of the 8,709-square-foot building at 555 Valley St. in Manchester from The Packard Building Inc. of Manchester to Cote Electric of Manchester. According to the Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $635,000.

RiverStone Resources in Manchester, which is comprised of insurance, reinsurance and service companies, donated $198,000 to the NH Food Bank in Manchester. It followed a week of internal competitions to see which of three teams could raise the most money from fellow employees.

Franklin Savings Bank opened its eighth full-service office in Goffstown. The 2,161-square-foot office has two drive-up lanes, a smart ATM, a coffee bar, and a technology bar.

Applebee’s of Hooksett hosted a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics, raising $1,300. Members of local law enforcement from the Hooksett Police Department served as celebrity waiters, with 100 percent of tips donated directly to Special Olympics.

BerryDunn in Manchester was recognized as one of the top 100 CPA/Consulting firms in the nation by Accounting Today. It ranked 65th on the list this year, jumping up nine spots from #74 in 2018.

NH Healthy Families, A Centene Corporation subsidiary, was selected by the NH Department of Health & Human Services to provide healthcare to recipients of the NH Medicaid Care Management program.

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce was named a 2018 All Star Award winner by Constant Contact. The annual award recognizes the most successful 10 percent of Constant Contact’s customers, based on their achievements using email marketing to engage customers and drive results for the organization.

Relyco, a family-owned business in Dover that provides specialty paper and payment products and services, is celebrating its 30th year in business. Mike Steinberg opened the company on April 1, 1989. Since then, the company has grown to more than 30,000 customers and warehouses across the country.

ReVision Energy, an employee-owned solar installer with NH operations in Brentwood, has re-certified as a B-Corp, beating its 2015 score by 30 points and putting the company among the highest class of socially responsible businesses in the nation. To achieve the certification, companies must meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. There are more than 2,500 Certified B Corporations from more than 130 industries and 60 countries worldwide. B Corp standards require companies to recertify every three years.
