Several large grants will benefit Catholic Medical Center’s Mom’s Place, Special Care Nursery, and Pregnancy Care Center. 


 

In the Spotlight: Catholic Medical Center (CMC) has been awarded grants totaling more than $250,000 to support programs that help women of limited means, expectant mothers and new infants, and new mothers in recovery. Among the grants, New Hampshire Charitable Foundation will provide $65,000 over two years to fund the incentives of the CMC Pregnancy Care Center’s successful Roots for Recovery program, which provides counseling, treatment, and essential baby gear to pregnant women and new mothers in recovery.

The Oleanda Jameson Trust, granted $21,500 to provide prenatal care to patients from early testing through delivery and Digital Federal Credit Union: $100,000 capital grant to help CMC construct a new community education conference area.

The Rotary Club of Rochester recently made a donation of $13,875 to the new Rochester Performance & Arts Center in downtown Rochester, $8,750 of these funds were raised at the Rochester Rotary Pro-Am Fall Classic Golf Tournament last September, while the Rotary Club added an additional $5,000 onto the donation. “The Rochester Rotary Club is pleased to be supporting the Rochester Performing Arts Center”, said T. J. Jean, president.  “This venue provides our community with valuable opportunities to engage artists and promote the performing arts in Rochester.  Additionally, it shines a bright light into our efforts to revitalize our downtown.  It’s a perfect project for Rotary to support.” The Rochester Performance & Arts Center held its grand opening in 2017 and is a not-for-profit arts initiative that combines studio and performance space, an art gallery and arts and educational programming for people of all ages.

Ellen Mulligan has again set a new record at Center Harbor Coldwell Banker with sales in excess of $49 million for 2017. Scott Rolfe, branch VP/managing broker says Mulligan will be recognized as the Top Producer for the Center Harbor Coldwell Banker office for 2017. Rolfe says her attention to detail and hard work are why her clients list with her and buyers work with her to find a new home. She has been in the real estate industry for more than 25 years, and her experience during that time keeps her at the top of her business. She and 12 other agents were recognized for their sales at an awards breakfast in and will be further recognized on March 8 at the Park Plaza in Boston.

The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce has hired Jocelyn Lencki to fill the role of member relations and program specialist. Lencki will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of certain chamber programs and events while supporting events and programs. A major focus area of Lencki’s will be to serve as the staff point person on updates to the membership database and customer service requests from chamber members and the public.

RPF Environmental, Inc., an environmental health and safety consulting firm, has hired Drew Carter as a business development representative. Carter has a track record in health industry sales. Prior to joining RPF Environmental, he was an account manager at OSRAM Sylvania and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. Most recently, he was a sales director at Biz to Biz Network Inc.

St. Mary’s Bank has promoted Ed Muscara to VP, indirect consumer lending manager. With 29 years of dealership and automotive financing experience, Muscara joined St. Mary’s Bank in 2014 as senior indirect business development Officer. He developed the credit union’s indirect lending automotive dealer base, increasing the number of dealer partners to 575. “Ed’s contributions to our organization cannot be overstated,” says Steve Macek, director of consumer lending at St. Mary’s. “He builds relationships across our organization and dealer network, provides the utmost level of professional and courteous service, and serves as an ambassador for St. Mary’s Bank through his dedicated volunteer work.”
