In the spotlight: Deborah Tessier, the vice president, commercial loan officer with Franklin Savings Bank was recently honored by Franklin Business and Professional Women with the 2017 Franklin BPW Achievement award. The award is typically given to a woman who is outstanding in her career, aids other women in their advancement, offers guidance to youth and young career women, and provides leadership and advancement to the Franklin community.

The NH Liquor Commission (NHLC) recently announced plans to build a new 19,000-square-foot NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in West Lebanon at 267 Plainfield Road. The new location will be approximately one mile south of the existing location in Powerhouse Plaza. Construction will begin in Spring 2018.

Krevia Academy Public Charter School will open its doors in Manchester, NH for the 2018-19 school year. The grade six through twelve school is set to open with 144 students, its first year. The public charter school was awarded a $150,000 private grant from the Barr Foundation in Boston, and was approved by the NH Board of Education in September 2017 unanimously.

Drummond Woodsum attorneys Daniel Rose and Mark Broth have been inducted as American Bar Foundation (ABF) Fellows. Rose and Broth join The Fellows, which represent only one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction, after being nominated by their peers and elected by the Board of the ABF. Rose is Drummond Woodsum’s practice group leader for labor and employment law, and Broth is a member of the firm’s labor and employment group.

Chesire Medical Center in Keene recently welcomed Denise Poulin, MD to the Women’s Health Department. Poulin holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont and completed her residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Before joining Chesire Medical Center, she was an attending physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua.

The Spaulding Youth Center recently welcomed Joyce McKenney as a residential living specialist. In this role, McKenney will focus on arranging vocational experiences and volunteer opportunities for students to further fulfill the center’s mission to teach the life skills needed for their students to be successful at home, school, and in their communities.

The Tanger Outlets in Titlon recently donated $24,569.17 to LRGHealthcare, which benefits breast health patients. The donation was presented during a ceremony on Dec. 13. The funds were raised throughout the month of Oct. as part of the twenty-fourth annual Tanger PINK campaign, which has taken place since 1994.Tanger has contributed more than $17 million to breast cancer research through the PINK Campaign.

110 Grill in Stratham will open its doors to the public on Dec. 20. It will be the twelfth location from the 110 Grill restaurant group. The new restaurant will offer both indoor and outdoor seating featuring modern American cuisine with gluten-free and dietary restricted menus.
