This Week's Spotlight: St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua received a $10,000 grant from the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation to support the funding of a new mobile health clinic for the Greater Nashua Public Health region.

Meredith Village Savings Bank in Meredith opened its 12th office. The office is located at 448 Governor John Wentworth Highway in Melvin Village and will be overseen by Regional VP Robyn Masteller.

Manchester-based St. Mary’s Bank awarded Welcoming Manchester in Manchester with a $2,500 grant in support of its mission of the integration and success of Manchester immigrants. Welcoming Manchester has partnered with Easterseals NH to provide a job training program for immigrant community members seeking full-time employment at Easterseals as residential instructors.

John Waterhouse, finance director of Stratham-based Timberland, joined the board of directors at Stay Work Play in Manchester. Stay Work Play focuses on encouraging young adults to stay in or come to NH to work.

Jason D. Gregoire, an attorney with Sheehan Phinney in Manchester, received the Star award from the NH Health Care Association. The NHCA is the largest association of long-term care providers in NH, with members that include nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Gregoire has also been named a Rising Star by New England Super Lawyers for his work in healthcare.

Families in Transition in Manchester promoted Meghan Shea to clinical director. She will oversee management of the agency’s supportive housing and substance abuse treatment programs.

Tom Dickson of Stebbins Commercial Properties Inc. in Manchester brokered the sale of a 2,470-square-foot office building on Elm Street in Manchester to United Property Holdings of Manchester. The property is valued at $340,000.

W.H. Bagshaw Company in Nashua acquired Minnesota Ice Pic’s brand of professional hand tools. Bagshaw is the oldest pin maker in America, and a domestic and international supplier of pins and pin assemblies.

Jetpack Comics in Rochester donated $5,000 to the Rochester Opera House in Rochester to support its new Performance & Arts Center. The Center’s art gallery and welcome center will be named after Jetpack Comics.

NH Food Bank of Manchester received a $5,000 grant from Wells Fargo New England Foundation. The funding will support Recipe for Success, a program focused on helping low to moderate income adults develop skills and experience for employment in the food service industry.

The Children’s Museum of NH in Dover received a $10,000 grant from Lincoln Financial Foundation in support of the museum’s Curriculum Enhancement Initiative. The program supports three educational opportunities for NH’s struggling schools and underserved students.
