This Week’s Spotlight: Families in Transition (FIT), a nonprofit, homeless services provider operating in Manchester, Concord and Dover, received $27,500 from Grappone Automotive Group in Bow through the Community Development Finance Authority’s Tax Credit Program. The funding will assist FIT with housing and social services to homeless individuals.

Eckman Construction in Bedford began site work for the Residence at Silver Square, a 68,000 sq. ft., 76-unit senior living community in Dover. The community, developed by LCB Senior Living in Massachusetts, will feature a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom senior apartments, along with an Alzheimer’s unit and additional services.

The Friends Program in Concord, a nonprofit which provides aid and services to disadvantaged people, hired Laura Scott as development director. Scott most recently worked as the community development director at the Town of Windham for the last seven years.

HPM Insurance, which has offices in Amherst and Bedford, hired Karen Hayden as a personal lines supervisor. Hayden has more than 20 years of insurance experience and eight years of supervisory experience.

Lef Farms in Loudon, a 75,000 sq. ft. greenhouse growing facility producing baby greens, hired Donald Grandmaison as sales and marketing manager. Grandmaison has more than 15 years of experience in the agriculture and horticulture industries, most recently working as product and program specialist at Pleasant View Gardens, also in Loudon.

MAE Consulting Group LLC in Deerfield, a business service provider for the health care industry, hired Steve Ives to lead strategy and business development. Ives has more than 25 years in business consulting and will assist medical device companies through the regulatory, clinical and compliance process.

The imaging department at Memorial Hospital in North Conway began using digital breast tomosynthesis, which creates a three-dimensional image of the breast that is more sensitive and accurate than traditional digital mammography.

MillRiver Wealth Management hired Ian Wilmot as a financial advisor in its Wolfeboro office, located inside Meredith Village Savings Bank on North Main St. Wilmot has more than six years of experience in financial services, previously working in various positions at Santander Bank and Citizens Bank.

The breast cancer program at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center (SNHMC) in Nashua received its third consecutive three-year accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). To maintain accreditation, centers must monitor compliance with the NAPBC Standards and undergo an on-site review every three years. SNHMC received 100 percent compliance to all 28 standards of care required by NAPBC.

The Southwest Region Planning Commission and Monadnock Alliance for Sustainable Transportation, both in Keene, installed 89 new bicycle racks in Hinsdale and Troy through the organizations’ “Rack it Up” program. Funded by grants from the NH Charitable Foundation and Centers for Disease Control, Rack it Up has installed 130 bike racks in Keene and Swanzey since launching in 2014. The new racks in Hinsdale and Troy can accommodate a total of 178 bicycles.

Arthur Arnold, owner of We Fix Trucks in Littleton, sold the company to Robert and Malisha Montminy, who own three automotive-related businesses in Vermont. We Fix Trucks will continue to operate in Littleton under the new name Granite State Trucks. Mary Doherty, an associate broker at Peabody and Smith Realty’s office in Franconia, coordinated the transaction.
