The NH High Tech Council in Manchester announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Product of the Year. The application deadline is September 26. Go to www.nhhtc.org to submit your application.

 The Elliot Health System in Manchester promoted Joseph Curti to VP of operations from his position as director of ambulatory services and surgical services.

The Children's Museum of NH in Dover was named a winner of a Creative Economy Award from the New England Foundation for the Arts in Boston.

St. Mary's Bank in Manchester hired Fran Geary Morcos as AVP, loan servicing manager. Previously, Morcos was assistant credit manager at Bank of New England in Salem.

The NH Institute of Art in Manchester hired Bob Gielow as VP of enrollment services. Before this, Gielow was director of admissions at The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University.

The NH High Tech Council in Manchester elected Matt Benson, corporate attorney at Cook Little Rosenblatt & Manson in Manchester, and Jamie Coughlin, CEO and entrepreneur in residence at abi Innovation Hub in Manchester, to its board of directors. The organization also elected Paul Mailhot, VP, business operations at Dyn in Manchester, as board chair.

Concord Housing + Redevelopment in Concord appointed Jerry Madden, executive director of The Friends Program in Concord, as chairman of its board of commissioners.

People's United Bank in Nashua hired Lynn Christensen as assistant VP, mortgage account officer covering the Nashua and Manchester markets.

TD Bank in New Ipswich promoted Stacey Ellis from assistant store manager to store manager.

FirstTrack Marketing Group in Peterborough hired James Dudley, former owner of an independent web development company, as senior web developer. The firm also hired David Weisberg, former new media manager of Yankee Magazine in Dublin, as senior online marketing strategist.

Dartmouth College in Hanover won the large workplace of the year award from the Upper Valley Transportation Management Association in Vermont.

CHA in Bedford hired Ross Wood as a bridge engineer. Wood previously worked for STV, Inc. in Atlanta, Ga.

Mid-State Health Center in Plymouth won the Rural Pacesetter Award from CEI Capital Management in Maine.

The Lincoln Financial Foundation in Pennsylvania donated $155,378 to 12 NH nonprofits including: $50,000 over two years to City Year NH in Manchester; $25,000 to Concord Boys & Girls Club in Concord; $15,000 to NH Public Brocasting in Durham; $10,000 to Concord Family YMCA in Concord; $10,000 to UNH Foundation in Durham; $8,000 to Child and Family Services of NH in Manchester; $8,000 to the Children's Museum of NH in Dover; $6,378 to The Fells in Newbury; $6,000 to the Circle Program in Plymouth; $6,000 to Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth; $6,000 to YMCA of Greater Manchester in Manchester; and $5,000 to Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains in Bedford.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded a grant of $230,180 to the NH Housing Finance Authority in Bedford.

GFA Federal Credit Union in Rindge promoted Nicole Blais to assistant branch manager of its Rindge branch. Previously, Blais was financial services specialist at the Gardner, Mass. branch.

Gerald Zelin, a shareholder in Drummond Woodsum in Portsmouth and Manchester, was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the NH Association of Special Education Administrators in Concord.

Loginov & Associates, PLLC in Concord hired Ryan O'Rourke as executive director and associate. O'Rourke is a 2013 graduate of the UNH School of Law.
