Wirebelt Company of America of Londonderry adopted UpReach Therapeutic Riding Center as a non-profit. Wirebelt's first major donation of $1,000 helped construct a run-in-shed for a herd of 14 that was completed in September.

A new certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University New England in Keene will help fill the demand for licensed marriage and family therapists. The demand will grow over 40 percent in the next 10 years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Citizens Bank Foundation, located in Manchester, provided a $10,000 grant to COVER Home Repair of White River Junction to help low-income homeowners in Claremont. This grant will support weatherization efforts.

In Keene, MacMillin began construction on the 40,000 square-foot Cheshire County Courthouse. The new facility will house Superior, Probate and District courts.

DEW Construction of Hanover has been awarded the reconstruction contract for the Stateside Base Area of Jay Peak Resort and an expansion to Bombardier Mass Transit.

The American Red Cross, located in Manchester, held a blood drive in the Red Cross bloodmobile at the Tanger Outlet Center in Tilton November 23rd, 24th, and 25th. Each doner received a $10 Tanger Outlets Gift Card.

Bruss Construction of Bradford began Phase I of the construction and renovation to the clubhouse of the Concord Country Club. The 3,000 square foot addition will include a new entry lobby, lula HCP lift, stairway, administrative offices, lavatories, and a connector to the Pro-Shop.

In Washington, D.C., Associated Builders and Contractors reported that its Construction Backlog Indicator expanded for the second consecutive year, a 3.5 percent increase from the previous quarter.

In Manchester, Portsmouth-based Therma-HEXX was named New Hampshire High Tech Council Product of the Year. Therma-HEXX specializes in the creation of green building products that improve the way to heat and cool environments.

HiSoftware of Nashua, a provider of content-aware compliance and security solutions, ranked 222nd on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500. HiSoftware grew 382 percent between 2007 and 2011.

A&E Custom Coffee Roastery in Amherst added two new members to its team. Matthew Cowher will be the company's new wholesale sales manager, while Daniel DuLong will be the new caf manager.

The New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority of Bedford announced that Michael Chadbourne joined the organization as the director of homeownership lending and that Brenda Mahoney will assume the position as director of business development for the homeownership division.

Claremont's Red River, a company that specializes in IT hardware integration, appointed Richard Ackerman as the new director of managed services.

Portsmouth-based C&J Bus Lines and Dover-based Federal Savings Bank joined to help make this year's Caring and Sharing food drive. Local community members donated 3,599 food items, resulting in a cash donation from C&J and FSB of $1,800 that Caring and Sharing used to purchase Hannaford gift cards.
