Radisson Hotel Manchester to Undergo Multimillion-Dollar Renovation

One of the renovated function spaces unveiled in 2017 at the Radisson Hotel Manchester. The hotel is being rebranded as a DoubleTree by Hilton and will undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation.

Major changes are coming to the Radisson Hotel Manchester, which will undergo a multimillion-dollar redesign and transformation into a DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel, located in downtown Manchester, has temporarily rebranded as The Manchester Downtown Hotel and will continue operations until the full transformation into DoubleTree by Hilton is complete, which is expected by the end of the year.

“Our location has been a staple in downtown Manchester since it opened 34 years ago, hosting presidential candidates, local dignitaries, rock stars and thousands of events,” says Kim Roy, general manager of the property. “This upcoming alignment, combined with extensive modernizations, will further enhance our guests’ experience and help attract more visitors, meetings and events to downtown Manchester.”

The hotel will undergo a complete redesign and refurnishing process, including:

• Renovated guest rooms, with all rooms featuring two queen or king beds;

• New restaurant, bar and dining options;

• Reconfigured lobby;

• Addition of a Hilton Honors Lounge;

• Business center expansion;

• Renovated meeting spaces;

• New market featuring beverages and snacks.

The Radisson Hotel Manchester completed a 10-year, $2.2 million renovation project in 2017, unveiling its redesigned ballroom and function space. The new renovations will include converting JD's Tavern into function space and making over the Currier Room and Cafe in the Park into restaurants. Renovations to those areas are expected to be completed by July. The hotel also recently upgraded the lighting in its expo hall (it can now be dimmed) and renovated the bathrooms int he expo hall.

The hotel will remain open for guests throughout this process under The Manchester Downtown Hotel brand.
