NH's Jobless: 3rd Highest Nationwide

Roughly 3.28 million workers filed for unemployment benefits in the second-to-last week of March, almost five times the previous record high. In a new study, SmartAsset uncovered the states with the biggest spikes in unemployment claims. It compared the average number of initial claims per week in January and February 2020 to the advance number of initial claims for the week ending March 21, 2020. And NH recorded the third-highest spike nationwide.
