NH State Arts Council Holds Grant Info Sessions

Arts organizations, artists and others interested in learning more about applying for NH State Council on the Arts grants are invited to attend an hour-long regional information sessions. At each session, Arts Council staff will present an overview of the grant programs, including which grants will be offered for Fiscal Year 2020 and updates to grant guidelines.

Other topics will include who is eligible to apply for Arts Council grants, using the online application system, how the application and panel processes work, how to write a competitive application and more.

Fiscal year 2020 grant categories include: artist entrepreneurial, arts in health projects, artist residencies in schools for arts learning, general project grants for community engagement, public value partnerships, traditional arts apprenticeships, and youth arts projects for creative youth development.

Information sessions are scheduled at the following place and times:

  • Rochester Performance and Arts Center; Tuesday, February 19, 1-2 p.m.
  • N.H. Forests and Lands North Country Resource Center, Lancaster; Thursday, February 21, 1-2 p.m.
  • The Currier Museum, Manchester; Monday, March 4, 1-2 p.m.
  • The Library Arts Center, Newport; Tuesday, March 5, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

There is no charge to attend sessions though space is limited and online registration is required in advance. For more information, visit nh.gov/nharts.
