Governor Chris Sununu proclaimed June 7 "NH Made Day," during the recent NH Made Street Market, where more than 50 independent businesses participated. The open-air market on Capitol Street in Concord, was part of the recent State House Bicentennial event. Sununu also spent time sampling the local food and products for sale at the market, taking time to speak with the local entrepreneurs about their businesses.

The proclamation recognizes the way local independent businesses contribute character and authenticity to NH communities. More than 650 local independent businesses are members of NH Made, a nonprofit, member-driven organization that inspires others to invest in their communities by shopping local Granite State businesses, and provides the support programs that local businesses need to grow.
