The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce appointed Chris Proulx as its new executive director. Proulx has over two decades of experience in media, advertising, marketing, and communications.
Proulx previousluy led operations at Outside TV's NH affiliate, where he spearheaded content creation, brand visibility, and audience engagement. In this role, he became well known throughout Mt. Washington Valley, where he collaborated with businesses throughout the region including many Chamber members.
“We were fortunate to have many qualified applicants for the position, but we quickly realized that Chris was the right person for the job," says Chamber President Rob Clark. "We immediately understood his passion for the Mt. Washington Valley. He is a long-time resident and member of our business community. His skill set and talents are a great fit for the role. We were also impressed with his work with many area nonprofits. We are excited to have him come on board as our new executive director.”
Proulx also has operated his own media production and marketing company, and was a production manager for Resort Sports Network. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting & Film from Boston University. He serves as marketing director and webmaster for the MWV Soccer Club, and volunteers with Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation and the Laura Foundation for Autism and Epilepsy.
