Manchester-based Mr. Mac’s is getting ready to open its newest franchised restaurant in Westford, Massachusetts, marking the company's second in the Baystate. Located in the Westford Plaza the new restaurant is owned and operated by entrepreneur Harry Cheema and partners, who currently have Mr. Mac’s locations in Portsmouth, and Tyngsboro, Massachusetts.
This marks the fourth Mr. Mac’s location, which also includes its flagship in Manchester. Westford is part of Mr. Mac’s expansion plan into Massachusetts and the northeast, which calls for both franchised and company-owned locations.
Cheema says that the new location will be approximately 3,000 square-feet and bring from 35 - 55 new jobs to the area. Cheema says he found Westford to be very welcoming and felt it was the perfect high-visibility location with convenient access to interstate 495.
