M&M Construction Renovates Game Bar

Published Friday Dec 6, 2019

M&M Construction Services of Bedford completed the renovation of a new board game bar called Tavern of Tales in Boston.

The concept is private rooms for board games using audio and narration offering visitors an immersive board game experience. Every room has acoustic sound panels to reduce internal and external noise levels. There is also a bar and outside seating area.

Rooms can be reserved for up to five people per room or the Tavern offers games such as Uno, Codenames and Exploding Kittens. The entire tavern seats about 80 people and is 2,800 square feet.

“This was a little different of a renovation,” said George Cullotta, president of M&M Construction. “We worked closely with Tavern Owner Nicholas Chen to create a very specific atmosphere. We really enjoyed working on this project. Our client developed the concept as his college thesis and we are excited to help him bring it to life in the Boston Metro.”

Said Chen, “The unique layout of the space creates the ideal environment for players to truly immerse themselves in the game.”
