Largest Ice Bar in New England Here in Bedford

Published Friday Feb 4, 2011

To celebrate NH Wine Week, which ran the last week of January, the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford commissioned their Executive Chef Earl Anthony Morse to construct a 50-foot circular outdoor ice bar located on the Inn's Patio. Morse is a certified ice carver and accredited by the National Ice Carving Association. Through this organization he has traveled around the world receiving gold and bronze medals for his carvings.

Morse used more than 10,000 pounds of ice to create the bar as well as other ice carvings adorning the outdoor patio. One feature of the bar was the ice martini luge where Finlandia vodka was poured down the chute and into a glass below, giving it just the right amount of chill.
