ROCHESTER, N.H. – Holy Rosary Credit Union’s board of directors appointed Kayla Selhorst as the credit union’s next president and CEO. Selhorst will join HRCU on Oct. 1 and will work alongside current President and CEO Brian Hughes through year-end for a smooth transition. Hughes will retire on Dec. 31, 2026, after more than 22 years of leadership.

Selhorst was hired after a national search conducted with the executive search firm Smith & Wilkinson. She currently serves as senior vice president and COO of CME Federal Credit Union in Columbus, Ohio, where she oversees lending, retail delivery, member experience, operations and strategic initiatives. She also serves on the Ohio Credit Union League board of directors.

“Kayla impressed the board with her leadership style, strategic thinking and genuine commitment to staff, members, community engagement and advancing the credit union movement,” says Dana Flanders, chairman of the HRCU board of directors. “She is an exceptional fit for HRCU and will build upon the strong culture and solid financial position Brian and our dedicated team have established.”

HRCU serves more than 25,000 members with over $500 million in assets. “I am honored to join HRCU and grateful for the confidence the board has placed in me,” says Selhorst. “HRCU has earned an outstanding reputation for serving its members, investing in its employees and strengthening the communities it serves. I look forward to working alongside Brian and the HRCU team during this transition while building on the exceptional foundation already in place.”
