Since March 18, Firehouse Subs restaurants and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated thousands of meals to health care workers and first responders on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to those in need who are unable to leave their homes.

Knowing these professionals are working long hours with limited food available,  Firehouse Subs in Manchester owner Daniel Pettit says he partnered with Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to donate more than 1,600 meals to local healthcare workers, firefighters, police officers, Mayor Joyce Craig and her team at the local Emergency Operations Center.

Pettit also collaborated with the American Legion to have Firehouse Subs meals delivered to all 10 fire stations in Manchester and donated meals to Meals on Wheels and local nursing homes, including:

  • Manchester, NH Fire Department and Police Department
  • Elliot Hospital Staff
  • Elderly persons supported by Meals on Wheels
  • Catholic Medical Center staff
  • Manchester Veterans Affairs Medical Center staff and elderly veterans that are homebound
  • Parkland Medical Center staff
  • Villa Crest Nursing Home staff and residents
  • Courville Nursing Home staff and residents
  • Hackett Hill Nursing Home staff and residents
  • Maple Leaf Nursing Home staff and residents
