Valentine’s Day sweethearts across New England can celebrate the holiday of love with unique events at New Hampshire ski areas. According to a SkiNH.com statement, romantic celebrations include chairlift speed dating, festive on-slope games, moonlit skiing, a couples ski race, and more:
Black Mountain - Looking for love in all the wrong places? Why not try and find it on a chairlift? Black Mountain is hosting their 8th Annual Chairlift Speed Dating on February 9. Ride their double chair to the mid station, and if the “date” is working out, continue to the summit.
Cranmore Mountain Resort - Treat your special someone to a day of skiing at Cranmore. Save on lift tickets Valentine's Day, Thursday, February 14. Adult lift tickets are half price, when purchased online, at least 24 hours in advance.
Gunstock Mountain Resort - Bring your sweetheart to Gunstock on Valentine's Day and join them for a special "Runs N' Roses" edition of Night Sessions. They'll be hiding 50 roses on their night trails and the Tubing Hill. Skiers are told to keep their eyes peeled, because if a skier finds a rose, they can win anything from swag to a night for two at a local B&B.
King Pine Ski Area - What is more romantic than ski racing and chocolate? Saturday, February 9, King Pine hosts its Bavarian Chocolate Haus Sweetheart Race. Those in the dating game can save money on flowers and chocolates. Then, on Thursday, February 14, romantical ones can enjoy two one-day lift tickets for the price of one. Discount available at the ticket window on Valentine's Day.
