After a very short stint heading NH's tech leader, Dyn, Colin Doherty, has been hired as CEO by Massachusetts-based tech company Fuze, which hosts a global, cloud-based unified communications platform.

Doherty's time at Dyn was short-lived, though he led the internet performance firm through its recent acquisition by Oracle before moving on. In May 2016, Dyn co-founder Jeremy Hitchcock resigned as CEO of the company, remaining as a board member with the title of founder. In October 2016, Dyn hired Doherty, who has more than 25 years of industry experience including 10 years in CEO positions. He joined Dyn about a month before the company entered into an agreement to be acquired by Oracle in a $600 million deal (read more about the acquisition here).

When the acquisition by Oracle was finalized on Jan. 31,  Kyle York, an executive at Dyn since 2008 and chief strategy officer, and Scott Hilton, who has held leadership roles at Dyn since 2013 and is currently executive VP of products, were both appointed to serve as Dyn's general managers.
