UNH Manchester Communication Arts Professor Anthony Tenczar was interviewed on New Hampshire Public Radio where he analyzed New Hampshirethe state's gubernatorial television ads.

Tenczar examined the cinema aesthetics of the political spots, which he calls mini films, and how the candidates use them to connect with voters. He discussed ads by gubernatorial candidates Kevin Smith and Ovide Lamontagne, on the Republican side, and Maggie Hassan and Jackie Cilley, on the Democratic side.

They tell us a lot about these candidates because these candidates have to make choices about how they are going to represent themselves in 30 seconds or less, said Tenczar.
