When this century-old cigar shop relocated to downtown Portsmouth in 2014, it transformed a damp basement into an underground tavern, the "Cigar Bar.” While reminiscent of 1920s speakeasies, the Cigar Bar includes a modern filtration system to provide a complete air exchange every four minutes to eliminate smoke residue. Traditional bar decor hides filtration vents and pipes.
