There’s a reason CCA Global has been named a top employer for the past decade. It is always finding ways to improve people’s lives, whether it is the family businesses it serves or its employees. In 2019, CCA formed a Benefit Peer Group with a diverse group of employees to ensure employees of all ages and genders benefited from its offerings.
Then CCA invested $600,000 into new and updated programs based on the group’s recommendations, which included decreasing the employees’ share of health insurance premiums, allowing employees to earn vacation time faster, a company paid short-term disability benefit for all employees, 100% salary paid parental leave for those having or adopting children, and changing the dress code policy to allow casual dress every day among other initiatives.
That’s on top of an already impressive company culture. Employees receive a whopping 32 hours of paid volunteer service time annually. The company has an onsite Big Brothers/Big Sisters program where kids come to CCA’s office to meet with their “Bigs” during work hours. In 2019, CCA staff committed over 1,000 hours of service to these mentorships.
Social responsibility is a big part of their mission, which means they ensure gender parity, with 50% of all manager positions held by women and 41% of senior executive positions.
The company holds several annual celebrations, including movie days where employees are paid to watch a movie together.
Children are always welcomed at work, and Pet Friendly Fridays let employees bring in their fur babies.
