ITR encourages employees to get to know each other on a personal level and started a new monthly optional meeting called “Building Bonds Beyond the Desk.” A different volunteer host picks a topic to discuss each month, allowing employees to talk about different cultural traditions and experiences. Topics have included how people celebrate birthdays and PRIDE month.

One of ITR’s core values is learning and growing so each month employees are expected to spend at least one hour learning something new. ITR’s learning and development manager created a program called Elevate that allows employees to see what they need to accomplish to get to the next promotion or opportunity, including
customized training.

Family is important at ITR, which adopted an unlimited paid time off policy. The company provides up to $25,000 per child for adoption reimbursement, education, and counseling up to a lifetime maximum of $75,000. The company covers unlimited fertility treatment cycles and preservation and up to $75,000 (lifetime max) for surrogacy financial assistance. 

ITR also provides up to 12 weeks of paid parental or elder care leave for caregivers and up to 20 weeks for maternity leave. The company also closes the first week of July for families to enjoy summer and the last week of December for Christmas. The company retreat this year was held at Mel’s Funway Park so that family members could join the fun.

ITR has wellness group competitions such as a step challenge and philanthropy bingo, which encouraged self-care and random acts of kindness. The company contributes up to $1,000 to a health savings accounts.
