2024 Business Leader of the Year Competition

Business NH Magazine and the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives invite leaders in NH to apply for the 2024 Business Leader of the Year competition.

One business leader will be chosen.

THE APPLICATION IS ONLINE ONLY. The application deadline is Feb. 20, 2024.

Please note the application is quite extensive. Answer each of the five questions below in 2,000 words or less. We suggest you answer the questions in a word document, save them and copy them into this form. Scroll to the bottom of the form for the list of questions. Included in that list is a request for three recommendation letters.

Detailed Questions

Summarize the nominee's involvement with civic organizations, community service groups and fraternal societies. Include a list of offices held and awards of merit received at local, state, regional and/or national levels. While you may provide a historical perspective of the person's civic involvement, the majority of your response should focus on accomplishments during the past year. *

Summarize the nominee's contributions to his/her company and company's industry. Include a list of honors and awards. While you may provide a historical perspective, be sure to highlight accomplishments during the past year. *

Explain what distinguishes the nominee from business/community peers? *

What does the nominee view as the most pressing issue within his/her community, business and industry? What solutions does the nominee offer? *

What is the nominee's vision for NH? *

Provide at least three letters of recommendation from other business leaders. Letters need to include the name, address, profession, and telephone number of the references. These letters should explain, from the writer's perspective, why the nominee should be considered for Business Leader of the Year.
